Terms and conditions of booking
Terms and conditions, version 12.12.2022
1. Your booking become effective when we confirm to you by e-mail.
2. We ask for the full balance of the holiday upon booking. We will refund your payment in full if you cancel for any reason any time up to 28 days before the start of your holiday.
3. Sea Haven check in time is 4pm and checkout time is 10am. This window provides our housekeepers with sufficient time to clean and change linen.
4. The maximum number of guests permitted to sleep at Sea Haven is:
- Five is you have booked as a family
- Two if you have booked with a couple's discount If you book as a couple, you agree not to use the bedrooms on the top floor. This is important as it will be clean and the beds made up for the next family booking, so our housekeepers will not expect to have to clean up there. The top floor will not be closed off and you are most welcome to pop up and look around... but please take your shoes off first!
5. Sea Haven has a no pets policy.
6. Sub-letting is prohibited.
7. If you will connect an electric vehicle to the cottage your must inform us in advance and we will jointly estimate the additional electricity cost and add it to your rental price. We welcome and encourage EV use but you must pay your own travel costs. You are informed that we do not provide special EV charging facilities, the power supply is standard household single-phase and you may not connect anything to the cottage that is unsafe or prohibited by law.
8. If you accidentally break something, we do not expect you to pay for it, but please inform the housekeepers straightaway so we can replace it promptly.
9. Should you wish to change the agreed and paid for dates of your holiday we will make every effort to accommodate you.
10. The prices, charges, terms and conditions published at www.yorkshireholiday.com are for bookings taken directly through the main website for Sea Haven at www.yorkshireholiday.com and through www.holidaysinstaithes.co.uk who manage bookings for multiple cottages at Staithes, including Sea Haven fisherman's cottage. If you have booked through an online vacation rental agency , other terms and conditions with different prices, charges, commissions and fees may apply.
